Calling all astrophysicists and astronauts! Explore the last frontier through a series of hands-on classes focused on physics, engineering and astronomy in this high intensity one-week camp. How do scientists and space explorers prepare for life in zero gravity? Investigate the effects of g-forces on the body created by popular amusement park rides. Visualize space vehicle enhancements by observing historical airplanes and early space vehicles. Tour PSU’s NASA Ground Station where they have live feeds to the International Space Station and visit the Dryden Drop Tower facility where researchers have created a near weightless environment.

William Blackmore, MA Mechnical Engineering, BS Astrophysics, trained astronauts and facilitated many experiments on the International Space Station and was Resident Astronomer at Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch in Namibia.
