Volunteer Opportunities
Select from the following:
Volunteer at Saturday Academy’s headquarters. Located in a quaint house on the University of Portland’s campus, we could always use the extra hands! As an Administrative Volunteer your tasks may include:
- Data entry for various department
- Sorting and preparing for mailings
- Assisting in classroom supply maintenance
- Organizing engineering and/or LEGO kits for classes
- Other - depending on our needs at the time
Work directly with our Communications Manager on all aspects of marketing and communications. As a Marketing Volunteer your tasks may include:
- Market research
- Social media
- Website updates
- Photography
- Videography
Attend and table at special events like community markets, fairs and more on behalf of Saturday Academy. As a Special Events volunteer you may:
- Promote and market Saturday Academy to event attendees
- Pass out marketing materials to event attendees
- Facilitate a small activity for students, if applicable
- Aid in set-up and take-down
We are always looking for new instructors to teach hands-on, in-depth classes and camps to Saturday Academy students. If you have a passion that you would like to share with young people, find out how you can be an instructor. Our instructors are all professional experts in their fields. No teaching certificate is required.
