Focus on the keys for producing successful written assignments: organizing a term or literary paper, establishing a thesis, creating a strong topic sentence and transitioning from one idea to another. Journalistic concepts will be used to teach you how to make your writing more effective. In-class exercises will also include writing persuasive, narrative and descriptive essays to help improve your performance on the Oregon State writing tests.
