Are you planning to take the SAT for the Johns Hopkins Talent Search? Take practice exams to familiarize yourself with the timing and learn test-taking techniques and strategies for improving your score. For the math section you will review the basic concepts of algebra as well as practice some of the more difficult problems. The preparation for the critical reading section stressing comprehension of extended prose and a peek at techniques for the optional essay.

Kelsey Loy Stacy Carleton

Kelsey Loy, MS, received a degree in mathematics from Humboldt State University. She taught online math courses in CA and has been a math tutor for more than eight years.

Stacy Carleton, MEd, is a certified English teacher and writer who has worked in education for more than 10 years. She also offers tutoring services through Carleton Academics (carletonacademics.com).
