Monty Mickelson, MFA; Mickelson is a published novelist (Purgatory, St. Martin's Press), a produced screenwriter (YA feature films for cable television), and freelance journalist. He is a recipient of a Bush Foundation Artist Fellowship, and did a 10-week artist residency in the LA Unified School District through the PEN Center USA's PEN in the Classroom program.
