Eleanor joined Saturday Academy’s Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering Program (ASE) in 2017. She spent over half of her life as a student of music (percussion, specifically), culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Florida State University. After graduating, she turned her artistic curiosity toward the scientific world, working with a tech start-up as well as a natural science and history museum. She is eager to cultivate this same curiosity in high-school students through the ASE program. As a newcomer to the Pacific Northwest, Eleanor enjoys hiking and exploring the lush, beautiful landscape. She also bikes, dances and continues her musical studies. Hopefully, she will one day own a garden and learn to brew some really, really good coffee.
