Writing stories for video games (Narrative Design) requires a lot more than most other forms of writing. Branching plot lines, repeatable dialog and tight word count constraints provide unique challenges to telling a good story. In this class students develop compelling characters and branching plot lines of their very own as they learn Twine 2, a popular browser-based text adventure game engine, to turn their ideas into games their friends and family can play.
