All students will begin with basic elements of drafting such as geometry and building a face, body & accessories like costumes, armor, or weaponry from the ground up. Students will also be given a "pop" historical context for classical draftsmanship as used by Disney, Pixar, Nintendo and even in books / films & games like LoTR and Dungeons & Dragons. (Plus, more modern references such as Adventure Time, the Simpsons and Futurama etc.)
Suzy Root holds a MFA in Fibers and Textiles from the Tyler School of Art. She works in a variety of media, but most enjoys the discoveries that come through exploring process, materials and meaning.
