More information:
MSC will be a very full day, so ASE staff (and past interns) have a few suggestions to ensure that the day is successful:
- Dress neatly but casually. Several activities may take place outside, and workshops locations are throughout campus, so comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended.
- Remember to bring sunscreen and a water bottle.
- MSC includes two seminars, but is also a time to engage and connect with other interns. ASE staff- and the many presenters and volunteers who are giving their time- expect you to have a great experience, but to be attentive and respectful. Plan ahead to avoid disruptions, especially cell phones and schedule changes.
- A light breakfast, and a full lunch and dinner will be served at the conference. Breakfast: Continental breakfast of bagels, fruit and juice. Lunch: Boxed lunch with sandwich, fruit, chips, cookie and beverage. Dinner: A variety of pizza selections. *Students with Allergies: Lunch and dinner will have vegetarian options. Students with specific food allergies should come with their own meals as the caterers cannot guarantee the food doesn't contain other allergens.
